East End Sisters Uncut

Taking direct action for domestic violence services in East London

Valentine's Day Action

Why we are here today
Philip Glanville (Mayor of Hackney) has broken his promises, he is breaking our hearts.
Homes in Marian Court and across Hackney continue to lie empty whilst survivors and families are housed in inappropriate, mixed private hostels.

East End Sisters Uncut are taking action on Valentines Day to demand a response!

Sisters Stand Together
We are Sisters Uncut, we stand against these deadly cuts, we stand with all our sisters who live with domestic violence.

We have meetings on Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons. Our next meetings are 23rd Feb 7-9pm, 4th March 2-4pm and 9th March 7-9pm. Location TBC - check Facebook for updates.

Who Are Sisters Uncut?
Sisters Uncut are a direct action group founded in 2014. We fight the devastating impact of government cuts to domestic violence services that have forced over 32 life saving services to close and as more services close more people die.

We organise in safe spacesthat are not open to men. The are inclusive and supportive spaces for all women (trans, intersex and cis) and all nonbinary, agender and gener variant people. Self-definition is at the sole discretion of that individual.
