Description

Brochure for Blue Spot (Blaupunkt) radios and radiograms from the end of the 1950s or early 1960's.

Colour brochure of 14 pages featuring a range of products: car radios, radiograms with cocktail cabinets. Brochure includes photgraphs and descriprion of each product and illustrations.

The Blue Spot radiogram was considered the best by the Caribbean community who moved to Britain in the 1950s and 1960s. The radio and record player provided a means of entertainment in the home, away from the racism often encountered in public bars and clubs. The short wave radios were capable of receiving radio signals from as far away as the Caribbean.
